Long-Term Care

With the government facing the need to reduce Medicaid and Medicare spending, and with the "Baby Boomer" group getting older, individuals are being encouraged to take increased personal responsibility for their long-term care expenses. Long-term care insurance provides a daily benefit amount for reimbursement of services received in a nursing home or in-home care. The younger you are when you sign up for the benefit, the lower your premium will be. Benefits are available for yourself, as well as your spouse, parents or grandparents.
