Time Off - Holidays

Medco observes six official company holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Employees are required to work their regularly scheduled day before and after the holiday to receive holiday pay, unless the prior approval of a supervisor has been obtained.

In general, if a holiday falls on a Saturday, it will be observed on the Friday immediately preceding the holiday. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, the holiday will be observed on the Monday immediately following the holiday.
